Edinburgh Writers' Club

Welcome to the website of the Edinburgh Writers' Club. We are a community of writers in the Edinburgh area and beyond, with an annual programme of competitions, workshops and expert speakers.  Our 2011-12 programme starts in September.

• Fifteen meetings per year, with a varied programme of speakers covering all genres of writing.
• Entry into club competitions. Competitions are judged by established writers who provide individual feedback on all entries.
• Opportunity to meet fellow writers and share your work, your problems and your successes.
• Regular updates about competitions, publishing opportunities and events
• Newsletter and social events

New members describe the club as 'pragmatic, helpful, friendly, involving, cheerful, wide-ranging, for beginners as well as published writers, informative, non-threatening.'
